UKhomephysio are able to provide medico-legal reports for clients following multi-trauma, spinal cord injury, complex neurological and orthopaedic injuries.
On receipt of an instruction, we will forward the CV of the Physiotherapist with most relevant skill set for the case. Anonymised sample reports can be made available on request. The Solicitor will be provided with a timeframe for completion of the report and the associated cost budget.
UKhomephysio has expert team-members providing rehabilitation to the clients with complex needs during the litigation process. We have a multi-disciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Occupational therapist and Speech and language therapists who are able to assist patients in their rehabilitation to achieve best possible outcome. We also provide treatment for individuals after settlement of a compensation claim.
Our Physiotherapists have specific expertise in the treatment of neurological injury, multi-trauma and complex rehabilitation, including the individuals with communication and/or cognitive difficulties. We are able to accept referrals at all stages including the acute stage or the clients who have not received therapy for a long time.
On receipt of a referral/instruction, we will perform full assessment and write a detailed report with specific rehabilitation needs, recommendations, goals and associated costs. This includes:
- Home-Based Physiotherapy Treatment
- Personalised Exercise plans
- Short- and long-term goals
- Equipment and aids
- Splinting and orthosis
- Training for careers/support staff and family members
- Gym based sessions
- Posture management
- Use of hoists and other aids
- Daily intensive input
